Positioned to Sell: H1 2026 Marketing Services M&A
We just published our H1 2026 market intelligence report on M&A activity in marketing services — and the headline is: deals are getting done, but only for the right agencies.
A few things that stood out:
The spread between the lowest and highest multiples in this market is now 6-8x. The difference isn't size. It's positioning, revenue model, and diligence-readiness.
Agencies below $1M EBITDA are averaging 3.3x. Cross $1-2M, and the range steps up to 3.5-5x. Retail media and creator-economy agencies are trading at 5-8x in the mainstream, with niche proprietary assets reaching 15-24x where the data asset is the product.
H2 2026 is shaping up to be one of the better liquidity windows in recent memory for founders who've done the work. The report covers what that work looks like, segment by segment.
Inside the report: the deals that closed in H1, what buyers actually paid (and why), which agency profiles commanded premium multiples, and where the market is heading in H2.
